Today I recieved my house party kit! I am so excited to have a House Party. If you are unfamiliar with the concept, basically you agree to host a party, and then a company will send you the things you need to host a party.
Well, I signed up for the Bicycle Card party. Today I recieved my kit and I am looking forward to hosting. We recieved cards, snacks, score sheets, pens, coupons, computer games and more!
The party is next week and I am busy planning on the games, prizes, and decorations! I'll let you know how it goes and will post pictures afterward!

My favorite Tea
Those of you that know me well know that I am a hot tea drinker. I recently found out that you can purchase my favorite brand, PG Tips from Amazon! The savings are substantial! I am so excited! PG Tips is by far the best tea I have ever drank. It is a strong black tea, great for that morning cup or iced on a hot summer day.
Gods & Kings, by Lynn Austin
Lynn takes the story of Hezekiah from the books of the Old Testament and expounds on what Hezekiah's life may have looked like. As a boy growing up in the shadow of his evil father, King Ahaz, he witnessed the worship of idols and and the desecration of God's Holy Temple and even the sacrifice of his two brothers. Yet, God in His providence preserved Hezekiah to one day reign as king in the way of David.
This book was an enjoyable read, giving insight into the Israel of First and Second Kings. I look forward to reading the next in the series.

My New Adventure
Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog! Where did I get the name? Good Question. Omnibus is a Latin word meaning all encompassing. Omnibus is also a class offered by veritaspress.com, a home school curriculum company. The Omnibus curriculum covers World history, Bible and Literature. There are 6 text books that cover creation to modern times twice. If taken in a classroom setting, it would take 6 years to complete. I wanted to write a blog about my everyday life. I have also been wanting to take the Omnibus class on my own, so what better way to combine the two! So, welcome to my Adventures in Omnibus!
